What You’ll Do

As a Manufacturing Casting Technician, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic instruments by performing detailed casting and assembly work.

You will:

  • Cast electronic instruments and silicone molds
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, bonding, and finishing
  • Follow detailed procedures, drawings, and work instructions
  • Schedule and execute casting to meet production timelines
  • Maintain molds, tools, and equipment
  • Monitor materials and assist with inventory accuracy
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and precision
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Participate in company safety programs
  • Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to candidates with a range of backgrounds who are detail‑oriented and enjoy working with their hands.

You bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 12–18 months of manufacturing or related experience (preferred)
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, casting, or encapsulation is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills (ratios, percentages, volume calculations)
  • Problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on manufacturing role. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Repetitive hand and wrist motions
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable working with PPE in a manufacturing/lab environment
  • Exposure to moderate noise, chemicals, dust, and moving equipment
