What You’ll Do
As a Manufacturing Casting Technician, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality electronic instruments by performing detailed casting and assembly work.
You will:
- Cast electronic instruments and silicone molds
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, bonding, and finishing
- Follow detailed procedures, drawings, and work instructions
- Schedule and execute casting to meet production timelines
- Maintain molds, tools, and equipment
- Monitor materials and assist with inventory accuracy
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and precision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in company safety programs
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet deadlines
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to candidates with a range of backgrounds who are detail‑oriented and enjoy working with their hands.
You bring:
- High school diploma or GED
- 12–18 months of manufacturing or related experience (preferred)
- Experience with mechanical assembly, casting, or encapsulation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills (ratios, percentages, volume calculations)
- Problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on manufacturing role. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working with PPE in a manufacturing/lab environment
- Exposure to moderate noise, chemicals, dust, and moving equipment
Pay & Benefits
- $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience
