Do you know how journals and funding agencies are all encouraging (or requiring) us to make tracking data publicly available in online databases? Studies like this are one of the reasons why. Requena et al (2020) used telemetry data from almost 400 animals to identify pelagic hot spots around the Tristan da Cunha group of islands in order to help guide the development of a marine protection regime for this area.
