Wildlife Computers SPOT tags were used on bottlenose dolphins in the Indian River Lagoon. The study provided a detailed look at the nocturnal movements and habitat use including foraging strategies, feeding events, and range size. This study shows the role that satellite telemetry plays in understanding how dolphins use their environment and how tagging studies can provide a more complete assessment of ranging patterns.
