06 Oct 15 Years of Data Leads to New Insights on White Sharks
The authors looked at over 15 years of data from Wildlife Computers PAT tags and others for white sharks around the Southeastern Indian Ocean. They looked at over 109,000 km of tracks and found that the sharks use the shelf-slope canyons and the Neptune Island Group more than previously thought. They also found further evidence of sexual segregation, with female sharks venturing further out than the males.
