08 Dec Kineis Data Integration Update
Earlier this year we informed our users of important changes to the Argos satellite constellations and its impact on your data throughput. While Argos-Classic (a term we are employing to differentiate between the different constellations) is still going strong, the introduction of the Argos-Kineis satellite constellation is now up and running.
For the past two months, Wildlife Computers engineers have been working very closely with the CLS engineering team to integrate your data via the API seamlessly into the Wildlife Computers Data Portal. However, CLS is still working on finalizing its security and data formatting specifications. In the interim, our engineers have developed a workaround that will get your data into the Portal. Unfortunately, until we get the information we need from CLS, the new workaround is a manual process requiring a little work on your end. We’ve developed this guide to help you through every step of the process.
