10 Dec Ranging Patterns and Exposure to Cumulative Stressors of a Tursiops truncates in GA
This case study follows an adult bottlenose dolphin entangled in debris. The dolphin was captured, disentangled, tagged, and released. The tag used was a Wildlife Computers SPOT tag. The study shows photos over the next 11 months of the dorsal fin in various states of healing from the entanglement and with the tag attached. The study is an interesting commentary on the stressors that marine mammals go through and things they are exposed to like PCBs.
