Do you know why the winged whale sings? Christopher Moore wrote an entertaining book about it back in 2003 (Fluke). Great book but we don’t think he really figured it out. However, Derville et al (2020) DID figure out that humpback whales use pelagic seamounts during the breeding season using Wildlife Computers SPLASH10 tags.
